How We Work
Appointments
We encourage appointments to ensure personalized attention and adequate time for your project. However, we welcome any opportunity to assist you with your latest projects!
We kindly request that Designers accompany their Clients unless prior arrangements have been made.
On Approval
Take advantage of our "On Approval" program, allowing you to stage accessories and small furniture items in your space for five days before purchase.
All sales are final after the 5-day approval period.
Items purchased off the showroom floor are sold as-is.
Large items taken out on approval must be transported and installed by a white-glove receiving/delivery company.
Designer Gallery, Inc. is not responsible for any damage that may occur during the handling and transportation of goods purchased off the showroom floor.
White-Glove Receivers
In accordance with the manufacturer and Designer Gallery, Inc. policy, all items must be shipped to a white-glove receiver for inspection and quality control before delivery to the End User.
It is the Designer's responsibility to establish an account with their chosen receiver. Failure to do so may lead to delays in receiving and delivery.
The Designer must specify the shipping address and preferred white-glove receiver for each order.
The Designer is responsible for arranging and covering all local delivery charges with their selected service.
Designer Gallery, Inc. is not affiliated with any receiving and/or delivery company and is not responsible for the business and billing of the third-party company.
Invoice Agreement
The invoice agreement serves as the Designer's acknowledgment and the governing document for the order, valid for thirty (30) days. By approving the invoice and placing the order, the Designer warrants that they have considered the following:
Manufacturer production begins upon receipt of the deposit, signed invoice, and approved CADs/CFAs, with all materials in stock and at the manufacturer.
Manufacturer lead times are estimates and are subject to change.
Per the manufacturer, only use soap and water on wood finishes, then dry. Oil-based cleaners/waxes negate manufacturer warranties.
After-market fabric treatments may adversely affect fabrics and void all manufacturer warranties.
All product quality assurances and warranties remain with the manufacturer and do not transfer to Designer Gallery, Inc.
Per the manufacturer, upholstery dimensions may vary by 1-3" due to the organic nature of hand-made upholstery.
All sales are final; invoices cannot be cancelled or refunded, and products cannot be returned.
Due to limited photography, reference photos included on invoices may not show the Designer’s exact selections, such as finish, fabric, nail heads, etc., especially with custom, made-to-order furniture.
Items purchased off the floor are accepted as-is.
Designer Gallery, Inc. is not responsible for any damage that may occur during the handling and transportation of goods purchased off the showroom floor.
California Sales Tax & Payment
To exempt California sales tax, Designers must register with a valid California Resale Certificate Number and provide Designer Gallery, Inc. with a hard copy, including their wet signature.
The Designer is responsible for notifying Designer Gallery, Inc. of any changes to their seller’s permit, such as account closures or alterations to the business name or address.
To maintain our business-to-business integrity, the Designer will pay Designer Gallery, Inc. directly; Clients of the Designer will not make payments to Designer Gallery, Inc.
A 50% deposit is required to place an order, with the remaining 50% balance due upon shipment of the order to the receiver. Items cannot be scheduled for delivery to the End User until payment is received, and all items have passed inspection via the receiver.
Designer Gallery, Inc. accepts payment via check, ACH, or credit card.
Claims
Designer Gallery, Inc. must be notified upon receipt of merchandise regarding any damage within 10 days of delivery by your receiver, whether noticeable or concealed damage. Claims will not be honored by the manufacturer and/or the freight carrier if Designer Gallery, Inc. is not notified within the claims period.
Items with glass, mirrors, marble, or stone MUST be inspected and all damage noted on the receiving document at the time of delivery, per freight carrier claims policy.

If the item can be repaired, a certified technician will be employed to restore the item to perfect condition.
Designer Gallery, Inc. will file the claim on the Designer’s behalf with the party responsible. Please allow up to 12 weeks for the claims process.

By uploading, submitting, sending, and/or tagging your content on social media or through email, you grant us permission to reproduce and use your content as follows:
You grant Designer Gallery, Inc. permission to use, store, reproduce, modify, publicly display, and distribute your content. Your content may be used for marketing purposes, including but not limited to email campaigns, blog posts, social media posts, store materials, and other customer communications.
Our license to your content is non-exclusive and royalty-free.
You represent and warrant that you own all rights to your content and that the distribution of your content will not violate the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or legal rights of any third party.
Designer Gallery, Inc. does not claim ownership of user-generated content or endorse any opinions expressed in the materials submitted by other users. Designer Gallery, Inc. maintains the right to remove user content at any time, for any reason, and without notice.
